Ranch Purchase-August 2021
When his father made the difficult decision to sell the ranch, Jorge was devastated. It was a piece of his heart, a future he had always envisioned for himself. From that moment on, he made it his life’s mission to own a ranch of his own, one that would not only bring him personal fulfillment but also honor the legacy of the land he loved so much.
Years of dedication, hard work, and determination led Jorge to Los Milagros Ranch, but it was nothing short of a milagro that everything fell into place. When he first inquired about the ranch, it was already under contract. However, by some stroke of luck, the deal fell through, and Jorge seized the opportunity without hesitation. The timing, the opportunity, and the resources all aligned in a way that felt almost destined, as if the land itself was calling him back. Today, the ranch stands as a testament to his passion and perseverance, offering a haven for both adventure seekers and those looking to connect with the natural beauty of Texas.

National Guard Move in-September 2021
In September of 2021, just one month after acquiring Los Milagros Ranch, Ana Suday, wife of Jorge Suday Sr., decided to list the ranch on Airbnb. What started as a casual listing quickly turned into an unexpected opportunity. With the border crisis unfolding in Del Rio, Texas, the National Guard was deployed to the area, and all of the ranch’s cabins were soon filled by the guardsmen. The ranch, which Ana had listed without any specific expectations, suddenly found itself playing a key role during a critical time.
Although this was an incredible opportunity for the ranch, it also meant that the hunting aspect of Los Milagros Ranch had to be temporarily put on hold. With all the cabins occupied by the National Guard, there was no space left for hunters. The Suday family was grateful for the milagro of being able to house the National Guard, enjoying the unique experience and the friendships that developed memories and connections, adding a special chapter to the story of Los Milagros Ranch, while looking forward to future opportunities.
